No, no me encuentro al borde de la famosa encrucijada de caminos. Simplemente, venía leyendo este texto en el autobús de camino aquí, y me ha parecido una manera finolis y cachonda de empezar el post; aunque, qué cojones, sí que he tenido una tarde un poco de aquella manera, y creo que de algún modo la frase encaja perfectamente con la situación.

Resulta que estoy de obra en casa. He tenido que vaciarla totalmente, y es la primera vez en muchos años que me he puesto a rebañar en determinados armarios, volcar determinados cajones, romper determinadas fotos y tocar determinadas fibras. A media tarde estaba melancólico, reencontrándome con ciertos recuerdos en forma de objeto que había escondido de mí mismo hacía un lustro. Me habría sentado en el sillón de la tele a llorar como una nenaza e hincharme a helado de chocolate, de no ser porque el sillón, la tele y el helado estaban ya embalados.

El regusto agridulce se me ha ido pasando progresivamente pensando que, cuando acabe la obra, en La República Independiente De Mi Zulo va a caber por primera vez entero el pavo de Nochebuena, y me voy a ilusionar comprando muebles nuevos. Con esa idea en mente, de hecho, he tirado practicamente todos los muebles viejos para meterme presión a este respecto. A lo malo se acostumbra uno facilmente, así que me he puesto a tirar cosas como loco, venga a llenar el contenedor, con una ansiedad destructiva que nunca antes había experimentado. Parecía una carrera entre los albañiles y yo, para ver quién sacaba más sacos de escombros. Llenaba contenedores de obra como se fabrican salchichas. Me sentía liberado. Me estaba autodesparasitando, autoexorcizando, autocircuncidando, deshaciéndome de viejos objetos a los que tenía un huevo de cariño como si fuesen cáscaras de plátano, basura. He tirado algunas mierdas que me acompañaban desde la tierna infancia. Si es que guardaba hasta los bocetos de tebeos que hacía con 3 años... tenía por ahí las fichas de personajes de los G.I. Joes... porno analógico en 2D... ¡¿cromos de fútbol?!... he llenado dos sacos con abrigos que no me caben ni en un pie...

En fin, que ya me he curado. Soy un hombre nuevo... O eso creía.

Porque hete aquí que he llegado a la estantería de los cassettes. Yo, en plena era Internet, apenas a un par de añitos vista de que inventen el chip subcutáneo de tres zurrones de yottabytes que todos llevaremos y que contendrá toda la Música Concebible... pues cuando he alargado la mano abierta hacia la estantería de los putos cassettes, con una bolsa de basura en la otra mano... he sentido un vahído. Un envés. Y después, una fuerza invisible que me impedía alcanzarlos. Y otra vez los ojos vidriosos. He tenido que llamar a un amigo para hacer más llevadero el trámite, y en cosa de veinte minutos hemos llenado 6 bolsas de basura tamaño doméstico de cassettes. Él ha aprovechado, y se ha llevado una de las bolsas, con lo que más le interesaba, para escuchar en el coche. Le he regalado un walkman, por el apoyo. En serio. He tirado otros dos esta tarde...

Total, que lleno 5 bolsas de basura con los cassettes... y entonces va mi colega y me dice que no las tire, que qué pena, ¿no?

Será hijo de puta.

Así que he venido al blog a contarlo, porque traigo un disgusto tremendo. Y he decidido que le voy a dar una oportunidad a los cassettes antes de mandarlos definitivamente a Valdemingómez, y ofrecer este espacio para anunciar que:
